Dean Smith

A small-sided scrimmage where every basket must come directly off an assist — the shooter has to point to whoever passed them the ball and call out 'nice pass' to make it count. Named for the coaching legend known for building around ball movement, it discourages players from hunting their own shot and reinforces that an assisted look is usually a more open one.

This drill comes from MOJO (yougotmojo).
