Two chair-based variations of 1-on-1. In the first, two players start on opposite sides of a chair or cone away from the basket; the coach or a passer starts the possession and it immediately goes live, offense attacking the rim while defense recovers. In the second, a chair is set at the elbow and the coach delivers the ball unpredictably — a bounce pass, a lob, a shot off the rim — so whoever reacts fastest becomes the offensive player. There are no out-of-bounds rules in the second variation, which keeps it fast, competitive, and forces players to react rather than think.
